Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your username or email address and a hashed version of your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.

User-Generated Content: This includes debt amounts, descriptions, currency preferences, and friendship connections you create within the App.

Usage Data: We may collect information about how you use the App, including which features you access and when.

Device Information: We may collect information about your device type and operating system version for compatibility purposes.

4. How We Use Firebase

GIVU uses Google Firebase, a platform provided by Google LLC, for the following purposes:

• Firebase Authentication — to securely manage user accounts and sign-in processes, including Google Sign-In.
• Cloud Firestore — to store and sync your debt records, friendships, and notifications in real time.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App
• Authenticate your identity and keep your account secure
• Enable debt tracking and friendship features

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited cases:

• With friends you add: When you connect with another user, your display name is visible to them. Debt details are shared between both parties in a friendship.
• With service providers: Google Firebase processes data on our behalf as described above.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@givu.top. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within a reasonable time frame.
