Yes — the core app is completely free. Free themes include Paper and White. Glass unlocks automatically when you reach 10 friends. Signature themes (Linen, Noir, Mulberry, Terracotta) are optional one-time purchases.

No. GIVU is a tracker, not a payment app. You settle up however works for you — cash, bank transfer, a round of drinks. We just keep the score.
